Fantastic Purple Spots is Barrett Jones and Dave Junker, musical friends and collaborators since 1988, when they met in a Hausa language class at the University of Wisconsin and bonded over vowels, animal names, 60s punk and the paisley underground. Today, Barrett lives in Norwalk, Connecticut, and Dave lives in Austin, Texas.
